His work is divided between :
- Aesthetic surgery and cosmetic medicine, in his private practice at 95 rue Jouffroy D’Abbans, 75017, Paris.
- Reconstructive and oncological surgery at Gustave Roussy, the leading Cancer Center in Europe, where he performs breast, facial, and limb reconstructive surgery as well as dermatological surgery.
- The consultation is a key moment in the reconstruction process.
Often, questions arise after the consultation is over and you are back home. This is why we recommend writing down all your questions beforehand to ensure nothing is forgotten on the day of the consultation. During this consultation, the doctor will examine you to assess which reconstruction techniques are possible for you. The most important part follows, where you will discuss the different possible surgeries. A surgeon cannot impose a technique on you that you strongly refuse or are anxious about. However, sometimes it is impossible to carry out the technique you desire.
For example, a patient who wishes for implant reconstruction but does not have sufficient skin elasticity will be offered a flap reconstruction, which provides the necessary skin for a good aesthetic result.
The advantages and disadvantages of each technique will be explained so you can make the best choice possible.
We advise seeing your surgeon a second time before considering surgery. At the end of the consultation, the surgeon may give you informational sheets on the different techniques, which you can read at home to complement the information provided during the consultation.
The second consultation is necessary to answer your questions, clarify certain points, and reassure you in your choice. Even though returning to the operating room might not be a pleasant idea, this reconstruction marks a positive turning point that will help you regain your femininity and improve your quality of life. It should be approached calmly, with the certainty that you’ve made the right decision.
